The Paul Sorensen Quartet has been performing mostly in Bellingham at the Fireside Martini and Wine Bar, located at Bakerview Square in north Bellingham.
Paul plays tenor sax and piano, while Cheryl Hodge (featured vocalist) sings and also plays keyboards. Others in the
group are John Flancher – bass, and Grant Ball – drums. Our music ranges from well-known songs, to jazz favorites of ours written by Jimmy Heath, Thad Jones, Horace Silver, John Coltrane, and others, as well as originals.
Cheryl Hodge, before moving to Bellingham, was the jazz vocal instructor at the famous Berkeley School of Music in Boston, Mass. She is very professional in her approach to a song’s interpretation and has developed a style that is very attractive to an audience.

Admission is free, but seating is limited.
Free jazz performances are scheduled on the second Sunday of every month at the Anacortes Public Library or, during the summer months, at The Heart of Anacortes.
